Verbitext 2.0 Follow
Introduction to Verbitext 2.0
Verbitext is Verbit's browser-based solution for real-time transcription across all audio sources.
Each Live session will have a unique link on https://transcription.verbit.co with the session’s unique ID.
How It Works?
Add Student as Attendee in the Booking Form
The participants should be added as attendees during booking.
NOTE: When booking live sessions for large events where no login information is required, you will not need to list the participants as attendees in the Booking Form. Simply share the link directly with your audience.
Once done, the attendees will receive an email with a link to the session’s attendee page; wherein they can view the transcript from the recorded audio.
Immediately after the end of a session, the attendee will receive an email with the transcription file (txt) attached to it.
Key Features and Functions
Verbitext 2.0 has several features that help elevate the participant's experience:
- Consume transcript in real-time and after the event
- Fully responsive and accessible interface (also for mobile devices)
- Support long sessions (up to 8 hours)
- Search a keyword in the transcript
- Automatic Scroll
- Presented with speaker changes
- Adjust text size using keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + “+” or Ctrl + “-”)
Search a Keyword in the Transcript
The new Verbitext page grants users the ability to search for a keyword or term within the transcript.
To search for a keyword, enter the term you intend to look for in the Search bar. After typing the keyword, the Verbitext page will automatically list all transcript lines containing the keyword entered in the Search bar.
When one of the listed lines is selected, the page will be redirected to the transcript line while highlighting the keyword searched for.
