Downloading Finished Translation Files
Manual Download
You can download any or all available translations by going to DOWNLOAD, then choosing TRANSLATION.
To download translations:
- Open the relevant job
- Click DOWNLOAD
- Choose TRANSLATION
This will launch the Download Translation dialog box - In Download Translation:
- The list of languages shown include the ones that were selected during upload, including the original media language. By default, all available languages will be pre-selected (see more below on “available languages”)
- Select one or multiple file formats
- Click DOWNLOAD
NOTE : Even if not all languages are available, you can still download the ones that are available.
NOTE : If multiple languages or multiple file types were selected, then the download will be zipped.
Translation Not Available
Since turnaround time may vary per translation language, some languages may not be available for download until the job is fully finished. If a language is grayed out, it means the translation is currently not available for download.
You will see a tool tip that will give you more context about the progress on that translation order.
Translation is still in progress
means the translation for the relevant language is still in production and will be available shortly.
Translation is not available
means an issue was encountered during production, and we are unable to produce the translation for the specific language.
Please reach out to Support for more details.
Bulk Download
The translations from multiple jobs can be downloaded in one go using the ‘bulk’ download feature.
To download multiple translation jobs simultaneously:
- Login to Verbit
- Select the jobs to download by clicking the icon to the left of the file name(s)
- Click DOWNLOAD (upper-right area of the page)
- Choose TRANSLATION
- Choose the relevant file types
By default, all available translations of all the selected jobs will be downloaded, and there’s no need to select languages.
NOTE : If multiple file formats are selected, the translation files will be zipped and sorted in folders per job.
Billing
You can review billing for all your translation orders through your PAYMENTS page, which you can access by clicking ADMIN, then choosing BILLING.
Billing for translations will have its own “type” to distinguish and separate it from transcription and real-time/live transcriptioning services. Each translation for each job will be presented as its own billing item on the page.
