Download Menu Follow
Preface
If you are accustomed to using the "Export" feature for downloading finished jobs, please pay attention to the following change. We are introducing a new method for downloading files and by that also updating the terminology.
New terminology: Files downloaded to your local computer are considered as "Download", while sending files to media providers (Linked accounts) is referred to as "Export".
Overview
The DOWNLOAD MENU, formerly known as EXPORT, is used to download finished jobs in one or several file formats - either straight to your computer (“download”) or exported to media providers via linked account (“export”).
You can use DOWNLOAD to:
- Download the latest version of a transcript and/or captions
- Download any/all available translations
- Export transcript and captions back to a linked account (media provider)
- Use plugins; such as interactive transcript scripts or offline interactive transcripts
DOWNLOAD is designed to show only the options relevant to the job.
e.g. If the job does not include captions - the “Captions” option will not show up
e.g. The EXPORT option will be shown only if the media file was uploaded from a media provider too
