Dropbox is a personal cloud storage service that is frequently used for file sharing and collaboration. Users can save files to the folder, add new folders, and drag and drop files among folders just as if they were all local.
The Verbit-Dropbox integration allows an easy method to import media files from Dropbox to your Verbit account for captioning and exports the captioned to your Dropbox.
How to Setup Integration?
Step 1. Login to your Verbit platform using an admin user access.
Step 2. Navigate to the Linked Accounts section
- Click on the ADMINISTRATION tab located at the top of the page.
- Click on the LINKED ACCOUNTS sub-menu under the ADMINISTRATION tab.
Step 3. Choose Dropbox.
Step 4. Login to Dropbox
- Login to your Dropbox using Dropbox access credentials.
Step 5. Connection to Dropbox settings
After entering Dropbox credentials, you will see the following options that will help you automate your transcriptions.

- Set source folder
- Set destination folder
NOTES: If the destination folder is left blank, finished jobs will appear in the source folder.
Destination Folder is required to be able manually export job to Drop Box.

Step 6. Save changes.
How to Setup Dropbox Folders
Step 1. Login to Dropbox.
Step 2. Create a Source Folder and Destination Folder.
NOTE: The created file folder can be setup to " Only Me" access
Source Folder - Users can upload the file to be processed by Verbit. Files in this folder will be automatically processed by Verbit Platform once integration has been configured.
Destination Folder - Finished Job will be uploaded by Verbit Platform in the this folder.
