Verbitext Solution Follow
Verbitext Solution is Verbit's browser-based solution for real-time transcriptioning.
This solution can produce a real-time transcript from any audio source recorded using a browser-compatible microphone; USB or internal (stereomix).
Verbitext Solution works well with supporting on-site/in-person events.
It also is Verbit's solution for real-time transcriptioning needs for online conferences.
How It Works?
The Verbitext, a.k.a. the attendee page, is one of the two webpages that gets associated with a session.
This is where the transcript of an ongoing session will be posted.
The end users, i.e. hard-of-hearing student, should be added as attendees during booking.
If done, the attendee will receive an email with a link to the session’s attendee page; wherein he/she can view the transcript from the recorded audio, configure the transcript format, and export the transcript after the event.
Requirements
Book a Session and Add the Student's Email in the Session's Attendee List
Any user-permission level: admins, content managers, approvers, and editors, with the exception of CART Participant, has access to Book Now.
Admins will be able to manage all booked sessions.
NOTE: The attendee and speaker emails needs to be entered in all lower-case.
The Link to the Speaker Page
The person who will be handling the recording should be added as speaker during booking.
If done, the speaker will receive an email with a link to the session’s speaker page; wherein he/she can configure the recording device and manage the recording.

Wait for the Session to Start
The speaker page goes active 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
This 30-min head start is to allow the speaker time to prepare and connect the microphone.
Verbitext will start to post transcripts when the recording starts.
Features
Verbitext has several features that help elevate the end user’s experience, namely:
- Search for keywords
- Edit the transcript real-time
- Highlight and add comments
- Font and background formatting
- Share the transcript via email
- Download the transcript
- Toggle between two transcript modes:
- Speed mode displays new transcript segments before any human correction was made.
Human corrections will follow once ready and will apply on the transcript automatically. - Accurate mode displays new transcript segments only after the human correctors reviewed and corrected them.
This additional layer of review will require more time to post the transcript segments in exchange to a higher accuracy.

End users may reach out to other participants by clicking the blue CHAT widget.
This Participants CHAT is visible to the speaker, the attendees, and everyone who has the Verbitext page open.
End users may reach out to Verbit Support by clicking on the green CHAT widget.
The Support CHAT is only visible if the end user logged in to the platform when opening Verbitext.
