To overwrite the previous caption file that was sent to you, the existing SRT file must be deleted first on the relevant Wistia media file and use the Export > Export to Wistia option to update the captions.
Q: Can the integration process video files set as Private/Unpublished in Wistia?
A: No, this is not supported at the moment.
The video should be Published or set as Public in Wistia.
